Michelle Ngome, President, African American Marketing Association
Michelle Ngome is a marketing strategist, community builder, and advocate for inclusive entrepreneurship with nearly 20 years of experience. In 2019, she founded the African American Marketing Association (AAMA), a nonprofit dedicated to educating, empowering, and elevating Black marketers, creatives, and entrepreneurs. Under her leadership, AAMA has grown into a national network with signature programs such as the Business of Marketing Bootcamp and the Marketing For The Culture Summit, both designed to bridge equity gaps in professional development and business growth. Michelle's leadership and commitment to representation have earned her recognition from the Houston Business Journal's Women Who Mean Business and Diversity in Business awards. She has also been named among LinkedIn's 25 Inspirational Black Women in Marketing and recognized as a Rising Star in the Marketing World. A lifelong learner and connector, Michelle is an alumna of the Houston Black Leadership Institute, Leadership Houston, and Goldman Sachs One Million Black Women. She holds a BBA in Finance from the University of Houston–Victoria and an MS in Marketing from Full Sail University.
