The landscape of UX research is undergoing a fundamental shift. As artificial intelligence moves from a novelty to a necessity, the core competency of the researcher is evolving. It is no longer enough to master the interview or specialize in survey design, the modern researcher is becoming an AI orchestrator. This session explores how AI is being integrated across the full spectrum of UXR methodologies, from generative discovery to evaluative testing. We will examine how LLMs are accelerating qualitative data collection, how vibe-coding is supporting quantitative analysis, and how prompt engineering is becoming the primary instrument for extracting deep, actionable insights from vast datasets.
