Karen Hopper (she/her) is the Senior Director of Performance Marketing at Bully Pulpit Interactive (BPI). Her work on the Client Services team focuses on bridging the distance between data, media, and strategy, informing creative that gets people to take action.
Most recently, Karen led cross-channel testing and performance strategy at Razorfish, where her primary client was Citibank. Before joining Razorfish in 2021, she was the agency-wide expert on testing and website analytics at M+R, where she spent a nearly a decade building direct response marketing programs with nonprofit clients of all sizes, including Feeding America, the Humane Society of the United States, PETA, Children's Hospital of Los Angeles, and dozens more. She has experience working across channels, platforms, and practice areas, and brings data strategy into every conversation.
Local to DC, Karen is originally from Longmont, CO, and holds a degree in music and political science from St. Olaf College in Minnesota. Outside of work, you can find her singing with the Choral Arts Society of Washington at the Kennedy Center, riding her bike, and petting every dog she meets (with permission, of course).
