Eric is the co-founder and CEO of Rival, a marketing research and consulting firm focused on helping blue-chip brands think and act like challengers. Rival’s mission is to understand and document the playbook of challenger brands. Their team has spent over 10,000 hours over the last five years interviewing, researching, and bringing together challenger CMOs and founders. Their research has been featured by the ANA, IPA, Ad Age, Campaign, Cannes, SXSW, and Web Summit. Before co-founding Rival in 2021, Eric was the CMO of 11:FS, a fintech venture builder for nearly three years. He was also one of the first 15 employees and MD, EMEA of VaynerMedia reporting directly to Gary Vaynerchuk for seven years. He has interviewed over 250 of the world's leading CMOs and is a well-known speaker and thought leader on all things growth and innovation.
