Sara Gessner Wallace joined Google in 2018 to help lead global marketing efforts for Google Cloud's $35B+ business unit. Since then, she has led global growth marketing, demand generation, experiential marketing, and branded content teams, notably supporting Google Cloud’s go-to-market strategy in the AI category. As of 2024, she has transitioned to a strategic leadership role overseeing Brand, Social, and Influencer for YouTube.


Prior to Google, she held senior positions at multinational companies leading strategic and creative development of well-known consumer brands. Sara has nearly two decades of leadership across multiple function areas including strategy, product marketing, brand management, experiential, and demand generation.


Residing in the Boulder, Colorado area, Sara holds several local volunteer positions in her community, including chairwoman and leadership board positions for Arts and Youth Sports organizations.
