Susan is CEO & Founding Partner at Redbird, LLC, the Los Angeles-based branded content firm. She is a media entrepreneur and leader with a strong multi-disciplinary background managing creative teams across all media platforms, building revenue-generating business models, and seeing projects through to long-term, profitable results. Susan has hands-on experience with a wide range of brands helping them to increase market share, revenues, and profits through relevant, content-driven initiatives. She has worked with Staples, Microsoft, Costco, Kaiser Permanente, Bill and Malinda Gates Foundation, National Geographic, American Express, New York Times, California Closets, Estee Lauder, Harvard Business School, Smithsonian, and more. Prior to founding Redbird, Susan was the founding publisher of BUZZ Magazine, a Los Angeles-based city magazine and National Magazine Award nominee. The magazine had contributing editors ranging from Jan Morris to Edmund White and advertisers including BMW, Chanel, and Tiffany. Before launching BUZZ, Susan ran marketing for New York Magazine. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Colorado and holds an MS degree from Columbia University School of Journalism in New York.
