Nan Kirsten Forte joined the Everyday Health Group in October 2018 as Executive Vice President and General Manager of Everyday Health Consumer. Nan leads the product, engineering, content, audience and marketing teams and serves strategic partners in The Well at Everyday Health innovation studio. Nan is a pioneer and thought leader in the healthcare media business. Most recently Nan was SVP, Brand & Integrated Marketing at Healthline Media, Chief Customer Officer at HealthTap and CEO of the Travora travel ad network. Previously Nan was a senior executive at WebMD for 12 years beginning with the acquisition of her startup Medcast Networks. Nan began her career at Whittle Communications (Medical News Network and Special Reports Television), Time Inc. and iVillage.
Nan served as a member of the Advisory Panel on Medicare Education making recommendations to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and HHS on opportunities to enhance the effectiveness of consumer education strategies. In 2015, Nan became an honoree of Forty Over 40 honoring women who are reinventing, disrupting and making an impact.
Nan received her MS in Biomedical Communications from Long Island University's Brooklyn College of Pharmacy and a BS in Biology from Swarthmore College in Swarthmore, PA.
