Creative Pushups by Manifest is a program that gives people a chance to express themselves, break free from old patterns and—most notably—pump their brains full of fresh, innovative and stimulating ideas to get unstuck. Our CMW classroom will have four thematic stations that guests will be assigned to at entry. Each will feature a timed challenge, and you’ll get to participate in all of them. Read about the stations below.


  • Drop It Like It’s Hemingway: Words are pistols. Words have the power to help, heal, hinder, hurt, humiliate and humble. In this session, you will use words to find unexpected connections.
  • Destroy Your Mona Lisa: So much of advertising is a flat circle these days. How often do you think “I’ve seen it before” when looking at a piece of content? Enough is enough—in this session, we’ll arm you with disruptive techniques and approaches to visual storytelling.
  • Sell the Moon: Concepting, pitching and selling is an art, just like visual storytelling and creative writing. There’s a whole different world out there when you bend your brain in ways it hasn’t been bent before. After this exercise, you will be able to sell anything, even the most arbitrary item in the room.
  • Master the Disruption: Become a master of disruption by combining all three elements: creative writing, visual storytelling and concepting. In this session, you’ll be pitching your idea to the person next to you using any medium you can think of. And who knows? It might work.
