Pat Scanlon is Managing Director of the Corporate Financial Group Inc., a consortium of financial services providers. Membership is currently comprised of the top global and regional banks. In 2002, CFG replaced the Marketing Information Group, a 20-year-old industry trade group, as the only banking network for career B2B financial marketing professionals. The company hosts roundtable meetings, conducts research studies, publishes marketing content and facilitates talent management for its members. Pat’s role is to identify and challenge CFG colleagues with new marketing insights and trends, and to provide the opportunities to network with other banks and experts globally.

Pat’s career is rich in financial marketing expertise. Prior to CFG, Pat consulted with many prominent companies to raise awareness of their products and image through innovative marketing. Clients included Bank of America, Bank of Montreal, Comerica, Norwest Bank, Wells Fargo, Treasury Strategies, FTI Treasury Consultants (Ireland), and Hallmark. Earlier in her career, Pat held senior marketing positions in both consumer and corporate lines of business at Continental Bank (Chicago). In her 17 years with the bank, she directed and managed virtually all marketing activities, including: business and product positioning, image building, business and product branding, communications planning, new product packaging and introductions, advertising, promotion and public relations, client satisfaction measurement and market opinion research, and competitive intelligence activities.

Pat holds a Bachelor of Arts degree awarded by Rosary College in Chicago. She has been active in networking within financial & women’s communities throughout her career both in the U.S. and Europe. She is active on Linkedin ( and on Twitter at cfg_pat.
