While choosing breakout sessions is not required, sessions do fill up fast. And seating is first-come, first-served, so it is a good idea to plan out your schedule ahead of time.

As founder of the Online Platform Institute and host of the weekly podcast Platform FM, I talk with digital media entrepreneurs about simple but powerful media strategies to grow and monetize an online platform. The purpose of every episode is to offer information, inspiration and encouragement to launch a successful online platform. Among my proudest achievements is the founding of a nationally-syndicated talk radio program and podcast, Family Matters Radio. The thirteen-year media company was a pioneer in women-issue programming that was honored by five Society of Professional Journalism awards for shows focused on maternal and infant health issues. Success in the mom market content space led to an opportunity to launch the national social network MomsLikeMe.com in over 80 communities across the Gannett media network. As the on-air personality for the NBC-TV Cleveland affiliate, I collaborated with the content teams to produce multiple on-air stories to attract and engage a female/mom-focused audience. As the former digital director with Advance Publications Digital team, I worked with client partners with customer lifecycle engagement strategies and the use of digital mediums to successfully increase brand awareness, market share and deepen consumer loyalty. Clients included Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, HardRock Rocksino, and Content Marketing World. Currently, I am the Director of Marketing for the Great Lakes Science Center.
