Named one of the top 50 Influential Women in Content Marketing for Content Marketing World 2017, Jacquie Chakirelis is a marketing professional, a national public speaker, and entrepreneur with more than twenty years of experience working in marketing, advertising, sales, and digital media. As founder of the Online Platform Institute and host of the weekly podcast Platform FM, Jacquie engages with the leading digital media entrepreneurs and marketing professionals weekly about effective marketing strategies to create, grow and monetize an online platform. As an advocate for female entrepreneurship, she currently serves as the market manager for Aviatra Accelerators, an organization with a single vision to help support female entrepreneurs start and scale successful businesses in Ohio. Among her proudest achievements is the founding of a one of the first women-owned nationally-syndicated talk radio program and podcast, Family Matters Radio. The thirteen-year media company was a pioneer in women-issue programming that was honored by five Society of Professional Journalism awards for shows focused on maternal and infant health issues. Success in the mom market content space led to an opportunity to launch the national social network MomsLikeMe.com in over 80 communities across the Gannett media network. As the on-air personality for the NBC-TV Cleveland affiliate, Jacquie collaborated with the news content teams to produce multiple on-air stories to attract and engage a female/mom-focused audience. As the former digital director on the Advance Local team, I worked with client partners such as the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Content Marketing Institute to develop engagement strategies and the use of digital mediums to successfully increase brand awareness, conversions and deepen consumer loyalty.
