For nonprofits, good content marketing means having impactful stories to tell, and the passionate supporters to help share them. At the No Kid Hungry campaign, we’ve been fortunate enough to have both. In partnership with BTC Revolutions, we have built a community who care deeply about ending childhood hunger over the past 8 years. At the same time, we’ve also built a team of storytelling professionals that capture the impact of our work to end childhood hunger in a compelling and authentic way. The combination of great story and amazing partnership with social media experts have helped us reach new audiences with our story, smashed fundraising goals, and continually reminded us of the real world impact No Kid Hungry has across the country.

As the social media landscape gets ever more crowded, having an influential social community - and empowering them with a story to share - will set you apart. In this workshop, we will break down how to collect and produce stories, using real-world examples. We’ll walk you through the “movement model” of finding and cultivating an army of digital advocates. We’ll also help you find the seed of an idea and workshop it together to create your next great piece of content marketing. We hope you’ll join the experts at BTC Revolutions and No Kid Hungry for this powerful workshop.

About BTC Revolutions and the No Kid Hungry campaign:
BTC Revolutions is a movement marketing agency that specializes in social media. By empowering our clients to build communities and ignite movements, we create passionate fans who fall madly in love with our client's brand our cause.

No child should go hungry in America. But 1 in 6 kids will face hunger this year. No Kid Hungry is ending childhood hunger through effective programs that provide kids with the food they need. This is a problem we know how to solve. No Kid Hungry is a campaign of Share Our Strength, an organization working to end hunger and poverty.

Takeaway

  • We all want to tell great stories to our audiences, but where do great stories come from?
  • How do you find original, true stories?
  • Once you find them, how do you turn them into content (graphics, quotes, videos, etc.)?
  • How do you make sure they’re aligned with the broader story of your mission?
  • Once you find the right story to tell, how do you make sure your audience hears it?
