The new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) transforms marketing for any organization doing business in the EU. With its emphasis on getting permission from consumers to use their personal data, the GDPR requires companies to move trust "upstream," i.e., to create trust-based relationships at the beginning of the customer-engagement, in order to get access to precious personal data. This session will survey the post-GDPR marketing environment and explore how content marketing and customer journey management can help nurture trust in consumers before they purchase.
